Jeremy and Erik podcast from the future and try to remember how to podcast. Then they move into data hording and how the Internet provides all the information you could ever need. The thrill of the hunt seems to be eroding due to the Internet. Somehow parallels of knowledge are compared to a Utopian musical society. Working for the man is compared to the cavemen Awk and T’Chak-Chak and their work ethic. Erik details a story by Jeremy Rifkin about an Internet like energy grid.

Jeremy and Erik thank their fans for listening and reviewing them on iTunes. Then they react to the recent Supreme Court of the United States ruling. It’s not pleasant, there’s probably some yelling. Jeremy tries to recall a MASH quote. Erik pines for the good old days but Jeremy doesn’t think the good old days were all that good. Plus much more!
Jeremy and Erik celebrate two years of podcasting by talking about gypsies at the mall and then a winter grilling charity event. Then they move into trying to figure out what kind of Superhero they would be. In order to do this they try to dissect what makes a superhero, how to define an origin, what are good powers, should really powerful powers come at a price and then how to create a nemesis for your hero.
Jeremy and Erik start out the podcast discussing putting on the hits, putting on the ritz, Young Frankenstein, high quality equipment vs talent, how to plan an escape route for a poor date, strip poker for the Commodore 64, Google Voice, IP over Miami, inventing letters for sounds that don’t yet have letters and plans are made for the two year anniversary.
Jeremy and Erik go all out on a discussion of how to sort ones music collection.
Jeremy and Erik open the podcast with a bible verse that relates to the lamentations of the women. Then they move into innovations of a deck of cards. Other product innovations are contemplated (most of which involve adding a clock to existing products). They dream of creating the perfect man devoid of milk consumption. Homogenized is defined and Malaise-Away (from Pfizer) is invented. Erik spins out of control talking about cartography and then finishes off with whooping cranes.
Jeremy and Erik talk about Stuff and Black Friday. Jeremy details his three phases of shopping. The Thurmblorters revisit the podcast to defend the name of the Monarchy. The history of the cell phone is detailed starting with government subsidies for cell phones and gifting cell phones to children.
Just in time to be late for Christmas Jeremy and Erik deliver the second annual Christmas special. It’s short because it was fraught with technical peril and many non-Christmastime ramblings were chopped out. However, Jeremy and Erik re-invent the the origins of Christmas, try to figure out the meaning of Christmas, name about 30 reindeer and perform four different versions of Jingle Bells. All for you.
Jeremy and Erik deliver a conversation about the eating habits of humans and try to compare it to that of pets. What if there was a scientifically engineered kibble for a person to stay fit and trim? Would it work? What would the public’s response to it be? It’s a little late for thanksgiving, but just in time for the Christmas feast.
