Jeremy and Erik recall tales of childish times, try to figure out what makes kids separate into various cliques, pop culture in children, federally mandated recess (IE tag) for all employees in America, Juggling in Gym class, technology causing human cocooning, technology increasing productivity, a King Corn re-visitation, more discussion of stuff, travel versus relaxation, enjoying your dinner, the pawn shop, stuff as drugs, old magazines, stuff-i-talism, National Treasure and the ultimate downer ending.

Jeremy and Erik present a special (shortened) episode of TFIcast about Paddle and Portage. Paddle and Portage is an annual Madison Wisconsin event. 2008 marks Jeremy and Erik’s 4th year competing. Though they never win, they always have fun and drink plenty of beer. This episode was recorded only hours after the 1.5 mile paddle, 1 mile portage and a second 1.5 mile paddle.
Jeremy and Erik celebrate thier 20th episode by talking extra long.
