Jeremy and Erik drink homemade wine and submit a randomly interconnected podcast in which they talk about the Ford Nucleon, fusion vs fission, Cash for Clunkers, Fort Hood, aliens and Jesus. Jeremy submits that perhaps we’re at the dawning of the universe and that humans are the most advanced life forms. Then they pontificate whether or not cavemen looked at the stars and are amazed by them. Jeremy talks about the lack of enthusiasm with moon landings. Erik lays out a conspiracy that Disney funded the moon landings.

Don’t worry! It’s not a politically charged venture back to the late 80s it’s Jeremy and Erik replacing those foul words with DUKAKIS. They Reference many movies while trying to come up with their own movie/short ideas. Movies referred to: Star Wars, Serenity, 12 Angry Man, Magnolia, There Will Be Blood, The Davinci Code, cigarettes and Coffe, Night on Earth, Being John Malkovich, Synechode, NY. They try to frame an outline for a movie idea Jeremy has had for years. The idea of TFICast the movie is talked about. Jeremy and Erik each come up with a movie idea. Jeremy’s idea is following a single dollar bill around town. Erik’s idea is about a missing puzzle piece the happens to be the baby Jesus. Then they try to come up with the next Internet video sensation starting with the antics of Captain Kirks Zany cat.
Jeremy and Erik start the podcast talking about names in which they try to figure out are you your name or is your name you. It’s deep. Jeremy sets up a scenario to see if Erik would change HIS last name to his wife’s in order to avoid future embarrassment. Since the guys had gone to a bachelor party the weekend prior they take this opportunity to talk about strippers. Each one lays out a relatively humorous stripper tale.
Jeremy and Erik follow up on the moon attack and then dive into the riveting world of a possible pet tax deduction. Things turn heated when Erik and Jeremy disagree on the extent of the law. Will you vote for HAPPY?
Jeremy and Erik start the podcast talking about Oscar the Grouch and his pal Slimy. Jeremy marvels at the fact that Erik does not know who Slimy is. Jeremy urges Erik to refer to his business as “The Shop”. The eco-friendly future of wooden cars is discussed. The conversation shifts to Americas declaration of war on the moon. Topics include money, garbage, world perception and the possible damage to the moon.
Jeremy wonders what Erik would do with his life. Erik tries to infuse porn in the podcast which leads into a story about what the troops abroad really need. Targeted ads and targeted questions are discussed. Jeremy and Erik attempt to define fascism. Capitalism vs Communism is put into the ring. The upper lower middle class levels are talked about. The conversation leads to boats.
Jeremy and Erik start podcasting at 1:30am with talking about MULE and their Mountain Wumpus Hunter group and ask that YOU join. This leads to talking about FaceBook spam via groups. The conversation then leads to the future of social networking and friend scavenger hunts and also what is your criteria for a social networking friend. Jeremy talks about pen pals and wonders whatever happened to letter writing. Jeremy wants a boat and somehow is connected to the rest of the conversation. Plans are made for Erik’s 40th birthday.
Jeremy and Erik start off talking movies, specifically Eagle Eye and Gone Baby Gone. They try to define a Sleeper hit vs a Cult hit and what entertainment is. Is a thought provoking slow paced film with an ending that questions your own morals, entertaining? Romantic comedies are renamed “Fluffy Bullsh!t”. Guilt is attempted to be defined. Erik talks about what makes him feel guilty. Jeremy can’t decide what guilt is. Do you feel guilty at the time you make the decision to do the wrong thing, or when you get caught?
Jeremy and Erik start a discussion of Stan-Lee, Batman, a brief history of comic books, the current generation of comic books and what the current demographic of comic books are. Economic comparisons are made using the “Comic Book Standard”. The conversations turns to poorly made Chinese products and America’s service economy. Erik falls into the anti-marketing rant. Jeremy talks about the current concessions made by the Democrats. Health care is glossed upon.
Jeremy and Erik revisit Florida to talk about hermit crabs and tidal pools. Erik brings up Micheal Vick which leads into a long conversation about the justice system. The guys then compare court cases of famous people vs court cases of regular Joes. Then they set up scenarios where the extent of the law is taken advantage of for the best outcome. Comparisons to OJ Simpson are made. Jeremy brings up a touchy subject of sexual offenders.
